 Grand Prix VII 2010
The ITF Wales Grand Prix  will be re-launched this year with GP VII, the first stage will be on Sunday February 21st at Eastern Leisure Centre 08:45. Entry form, Competitor form and Division list are included here  - all entries to be in by Sunday February 7th.
 
 International Umpires Seminar
Senior Master Michael Prewett will be conducting an international umpires seminar in Holland in January 15th-17th for full details on costs and timings follow this link EITF International Seminar this will allow all III dans and above to get their class B ITF international umpires certificate.
 

ITF Wales congratulations

We would like to congratulate Kane Collins (Fairwater) and Leighton Prosser (Ely) for winning the UKTA 2009 Awards for overall u13 and veteran respectively from the 2009 national Opens.

 
 ITF Wales AGM
This year the AGM will be on Monday 14th December at Llanedeyrn High school. All black belts are eligible to attend, an e-mail with the agenda and previous minutes will be sent out soon to all persons eligible to attend.
 
ITF Wales Awards Night
This is on February 5th at the Fairwater Cons club, tickets will be available soon from your school secretary at £3 per ticket and £10 for a family ticket (4 or more member from one household).

Not many competitors up from Wales this year 7 Ely, 2 Cardiff Uni but good results and high standards as usual - well done to our friends from North Cardiff Self Defence by the way they all performed well.

 UKTA regional seminar & grading Sunday 27th September
Thanks to Senior Master Taylor VIII who stood in for this seminar after Master O'Neill VII had to drop out - despite the aches and pains from the previous days tournaments everyone still worked hard in the seminar.
     
 Welsh Open - UWIC, Cardiff Saturday 26th September

 New school opens
Senior Master Taylor VIII has re-opened the Penarth School of Taekwon-Do, it will be run from Thursday 10th September 20:00-21:00 at Cogan Leisure Centre, Andrew Road, Cogan, Penarth CF64 2NS - location map.
