New project |
|
We have had an International honours section on
the site for a long time recognising the achievements of
the national team members, well now we are going to try
and get a local & national section going. Having sorted
through the results sheets available for the last 5-6
years and got some information from individuals there is
now a draft list for what has been won at local,
National and International level for as many people as
could be found - if you are missing just send in
your details to
secretary@itfwales.co.uk and they shall be added. It
is doubtful this will ever be complete but hopefully we
can get it as close as possible and thereby recognise
the achievements of all the Welsh Taekwon-Do competitors
no matter how small.

Grand Prix VII stage II 2010 -
congratulations |
The second stage of ITF Wales Grand Prix VII was this
weekend and saw more than 100 competitors from over a
dozen schools enter we would like to welcome back old
time associates from Brynna who put in a good show for
the day, the day ran well with some very good
performances from students throughout the schools - well
done to you all -

This weekend saw the 2010 Welsh Open with 40 plus
schools and 280 competitors well done to everyone on a
great day and results will appear soon.

This weekend saw the regional seminar hosted b Mr Darren
Johns III Cardiff North and taken by none other than
Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha IX - with over 130 students in
attendance it was was a busy and informative seminar and
successful grading for the Wales area.

Congratulations to Gareth Francis I (Ely) on winning
silver in the senior male -64kg sparring and Tom Harris
II (Ely) on winning bronze in the senior male -58kg
sparring. Also representing Wales were Victoria Phillips
III (Ely), Jenna Wakely II (Ely), Sophie Collins II
(Fairwater), Lanny James II (Ely), Conah Prosser II
(Ely), Ryan Davies I (Ely and Stephen Cocks I (Lisvane),

The first stage of ITF Wales Grand Prix VII was this
weekend and saw more than 120 competitors from over a
dozen schools enter with the Kendal family from Caterham
making the longest trip - with plenty of new comers to
the event with was a great day for the participants and
spectators alike -
